thumbprint cheddar biscuts

The credit for this actually goes to my sister she came up with this recipe while we were making thumbprint cookies. They are super addictive.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded or colby jack cheese
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • - pepper jelly
  • - cream cheese

How To Make thumbprint cheddar biscuts

  • Step 1
    Mix the cheese, flour and butter together until it forms a dough.
  • Step 2
    Chill the dough for about 10 min.
  • Step 3
    Take a small cookie scoop or teaspoon and place biscuts on a cookie sheet. make like you would thumbprint cookies and place about a 1/4 tsp. of pepper jelly in the center.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 400* for 10 min. when cooled top with a 1/4 tsp. of cream cheese.
  • Step 5
    **NOTE** You don't have to add the pepper jelly or cream cheese if you do not like it. You can make the dough into just biscuts.
