Ingredients For sweet potato biscuits

  • 3/4 c
    mashed sweet potatoes, fresh or canned ( as long as it's not pie filling)
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 c
    plain flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • scant dash cinnamon

How To Make sweet potato biscuits

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • 2
    Mix potatoes, butter, milk and add dry ingredients. Make a soft dough.
  • 3
    Turn out onto a floured board and toss lightly. Pat out dough about 1" thick. Cut with floured cutter.
  • 4
    Bake on greased pan for about 15 minutes.
