Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1 - baked sweet potato
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

How To Make sweet potato biscuits

  • Step 1
    Add crisco, potato, and buttermilk to flour. Add more buttermilk if needed and make a stiff dough.
  • Step 2
    Roll out and cut into biscuits. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 425 until light brown.
