This recipe was given to me by my ex mother-in-law, who passed away years ago. It is very simple and makes the best sweet potato biscuits you will ever taste. Enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 can sweet potatoes
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
How To Make sweet potato biscuits

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare biscuit pan, if necessary, and set aside.

Step 2Drain and mash sweet potatoes. Mix, by hand, flour, sugar, sweet potatoes, and butter until completely blended.

Step 3You can either roll out dough on floured surface and use biscuit cutter or roll dough into a log shape and pinch off portions, rolling and flattening on biscuit pan.

Step 4Bake in oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 5Serve immediately and enjoy.
