Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
- 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make sweet potato biscuits

Step 1In mixing bowl stir together the flour, baking powder, brown sugar and salt. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 2Combine egg , mashed sweet potato, and milk. Add all at once to dry mixture. stir just till dough clings together.

Step 3you can drop on cookie sheet or roll out dough and cut out biscuits. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes.
