southern fried apples
Who loves fried apples? Make these mouth-watering, succulent fried apples and serve them solo or over hot, fresh from the oven, homemade Southern biscuits. See my recipe for the biscuits.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
When the weather turns cooler, these Southern fried apples taste like fall. They're sweet, tender, and juicy with a hint of tartness, and filled with warm spices. It's buttery, almost like a caramel sauce. You can eat these fried apples over biscuits or ice cream, but they are equally delicious to eat alone.
