A nice shortcut recipe for biscuits with chives. Recipe from Sandra Lee.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups buttermilk baking mix (bisquick)
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • - all-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 2 tablespoons milk

How To Make sour cream and chive biscuits

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    In a large mixing bowl, combine baking mix, sour cream and chives until a soft dough forms.
  • Step 3
    Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead 10-12 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. With a 2 1/2-inch round cutter or an empty drinking glass, cut 8 rounds from the dough.
  • Step 4
    Place rounds on an ungreased baking sheet and brush with milk.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with butter.
