soda water biscuits

Soda water biscuits have a moist, yet more crumbly texture than regular biscuits. The butter on the bottom or top of the biscuits can be added more sparingly if you are worried about fat content/calories.. u can also pare down a bit on them by using low fat or fat free sour cream instead of regular. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups bisquick or comparable baking mix *see my recipe for baking mix :)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup soda water (seltzer water or club soda)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter, divided

How To Make soda water biscuits

  • Step 1
    Preheat over to 425 degrees and pour 1/2 of the melted butter into the bottom of a glass or metal baking pan
  • Step 2
    In large bowl, blend baking mix, sour cream and seltzer.
  • Step 3
    Shape into biscuit form and place into buttered baking pan. Brush remainder of melted butter over top of biscuits.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 425 degrees for 13-18 mins or until golden brown .. Enjoy!
