Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 1 package yeast, cake
- 1/4 cup luke-warm water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups buttermilk
How To Make refrigerator biscuits

Step 1Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup of Crisco until it looks like fine meal.

Step 2Dissolve 1 yeast cake into 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Mix baking soda into 2 cups of buttermilk. Mix liquids and add to flour mixture.

Step 3Mix well. Put into greased bowl. Turn over so top will be greased---cover----use as needed. Pinch off and bake as many as you need.
