A great chef lady I knew gave me this yummy recipe. It is my favorite for biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    buttermilk

How to Make Prill's Great Big Buttermilk Biscuits

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine dry ingredients. Then cut softened butter in dry mixture until crumbly. Mix buttermilk in.
    Roll out on floured cutting board til 1 inch thick. Cut and put on lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake @ 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush lightly with butter.
