How to Make Orange Biscuits
- Combine juice, water, and sugar, mixing well. Cook 11 minutes and cool.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. Cut in shortening.
- Add milk stirring quickly until blended. Turn out on floured board or waxed paper and roll into a rectangle. Roll up long way, as for a jelly roll.
- Cut into 16 slices and place cut side down in greased 9x9 inch pan. Drizzle syrup over and around biscuits.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 16 minutes. Serve upside down.
