These are my go-to biscuits I make when in a hurry. You can omit the parsley and serve these w/ jam for breakfast or keep the parsley and make them to go along w/ beef stew or any other stew or soup.

Ingredients For my go-to biscuits

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley, or chives, or favorite herb
  • 1/4 c
    softened butter
  • 1 c
    2% milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter

How To Make my go-to biscuits

    Heat oven to 425. Lightly spray baking sheet w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and favorite herbs.

    Add softened butter, knead w/ hands. Add milk, beat w/ whisk or spoon for 1 mins, until a soft dough forms. Place dough on floured work surface.

    Knead dough until smooth. Pull dough into 12 pieces, ( or more.) Place dough on baking sheet. Brush dough w/ melted butter. BAke 10-13 mins, or until light golden brown.
