Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks real butter, cold
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup cold milk

How To Make mama baker's homestyle biscuits

  • Step 1
    Start by placing your dry ingredients & cold butter in your food processor and pulse until coarse pieces.
  • Step 2
    Pour out of food processor into a bowl and add milk stir until completely mixed.
  • Step 3
    Turn out on to a floured table and knead a little bit.
  • Step 4
    This is how mine looks after kneading about a minute or so!
  • you see lots of butter bits in there

    Roll out dough about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Step 6
    Cut them out in pretty little circles :)
  • Step 7
    Place in a greased pan (oil, melted butter or shortening bake on 450 degrees for 15 minutes.

    Remove from oven and rub butter over the top of them and serve!

    They are great with honey!
