2 cwhole wheat flour
2 Tbspbaking powder
1 tspbaking soda
2 Tbspcold butter
1 cplain nonfat yogurt
1/4 cskim or 2% milk
How to Make Low Fat Whole Wheat Biscuits
- Combine dry ingredients in a cold bowl. Cut in butter with fingers or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add yogurt and milk just until mixed. DO NOT OVERMIX or the biscuits qill be tough.
- Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to about 3/4" thickness. Cut into biscuits(usually about 2" circles).
- Bake at 400 F for about 15 minutes
