These are delicious. Great for making pot pie with a biscuit crust, or just for breakfast or dinner biscuits in general!

2 c
whole wheat flour
2 Tbsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
2 Tbsp
cold butter
1 c
plain nonfat yogurt
1/4 c
skim or 2% milk

How to Make Low Fat Whole Wheat Biscuits


  • 1Combine dry ingredients in a cold bowl. Cut in butter with fingers or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • 2Add yogurt and milk just until mixed. DO NOT OVERMIX or the biscuits qill be tough.
  • 3Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to about 3/4" thickness. Cut into biscuits(usually about 2" circles).
  • 4Bake at 400 F for about 15 minutes
