lobster & shrimp fried biscuit

This is my answer to the lobster roll. You won't have any soggy bun here. This crispy flaky deep fried biscuit filled with sweet lobster & shrimp salad is to die for. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and walk on the fried side. This is total decadence! Cooking & Frying with Passion, sw:)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lobster meat, cooked & cut in chunks
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, cooked & cut in chunks
  • 1 medium celery stalk & leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 1 medium zest of lemon
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (more or less)
  • 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 4 - grands refrigerated flaky biscuits

How To Make lobster & shrimp fried biscuit

  • Step 1
    combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl
  • Step 2
    add mayo to bowl and mix well
  • Step 3
    deep fry biscuits at 320 degrees for 6-7 minutes flipping for even browning
  • Step 4
    slice the biscuits in half. add lobster and shrimp salad. ENJOY!
