I used to watch the tv show Little House on the Prairie, one scene talked about what "Pa" was going to have for breakfast at the restaurant in town. He made it sound so good I've been making it for years. Said he wanted a steak, eggs, mushrooms and biscuits. I sometimes add fried potatoes especially when I serve it for dinner which I usually do.
You can use the same skillet to cook the steak, mushrooms and eggs. This is my self taught way to make biscuits and they work for me.
My family loves apricot jam or dark Karo syrup with biscuits.Add a big glass of milk and enjoy!
