Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cold butter (1/2 stick), cut into 4 pieces
- 1 1/8 cups cream
How To Make light as a feather drop biscuits

Step 1Place flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl of an electric mixer.

Step 2Beat for a few seconds to blend.

Step 3Add the butter and beat until mixture resembles coarse meal. By hand, stir in the cream until blended.

Step 4Drop batter by the heaping tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a 425° oven for 20 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.

Step 5Yields 12 to 14 biscuits.
