I'm always experimenting with biscuits and this is just another that we absolutely loved! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 stick cold butter- cut into 8 pats
- 3/4 cup cold buttermilk
How To Make ~ hot buttery biscuits ~

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degree F. Five minutes before biscuits are ready to bake, place one tablespoon butter in an iron skillet or round cake pan and place in oven to melt. Make sure pan is hot. In food processor, mix together flour, salt and baking powder. To this add sour cream and pulse just to blend in. Add pats of butter and pulse roughly 6 times or until fine crumbs. Now add milk and pulse, just until all dry ingredients are wet and lumpy - do not over mix.

Step 2On a lightly floured surface, with floured hands, pat out biscuits to one inch thick.

Step 3Cut with knife or biscuit cutter and place into hot pan. Bake for roughly 14 minutes or until golden and browning on bottom, yet moist and tender on inside! Brush tops with butter straight from the oven!
