How to Make ~ Hot Buttery Biscuits ~
- Preheat oven to 450 degree F.
Five minutes before biscuits are ready to bake, place one tablespoon butter in an iron skillet or round cake pan and place in oven to melt. Make sure pan is hot.
In food processor, mix together flour, salt and baking powder. To this add sour cream and pulse just to blend in.
Add pats of butter and pulse roughly 6 times or until fine crumbs.
Now add milk and pulse, just until all dry ingredients are wet and lumpy - do not over mix.
