Forget those cardboard whole wheat biscuits. These are soft, fluffy, and so delicious!

Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh milled soft white wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
How To Make fresh milled mile high biscuits

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2Add flour, salt, and baking powder to a mixing bowl and mix well.

Step 3Pour olive oil over flour mixture and combine with hands or a pastry cutter you have coarse crumbs.

Step 4Add milk and mix just until combined.

Step 5Turn onto floured surface and gently pat out 1 3/4-2 inch thickness.

Step 6Use a biscuit cutter or mason jar top to cut out the biscuits. I usually get 8 out of this dough.

Step 7Place biscuits on greased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Check after 12 minutes.
