Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    active dry yeast
  • 1/4 c
    warm water
  • 2 c
    buttermilk
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil( you can use 1/2 c.oil)

How to Make Fast Food Biscuits

Step-by-Step

  1. dissolve yeast in warm water.set aside.in a large bowl mix buttermilk,sugar and baking soda in bowl.
    add yeast mixture.combine flour and oil in a bowl.
    add to buttermilk mixture,mixing well.
    chill overnight.knead mixture on floured surface.cut
    out biscuits to desired size.oil baking pan,place biscuits in pan oil the top just a touch.bake at400* for 15 minutes or till brown.if desired use 1/2 cup oil.
  2. prep time ? i just made and put in ice box,never bother to see how long it took.
