I have a gluten allergy, so I am always trying to make everyday foods more exciting. With this recipe, I was trying to re-create Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits, and I think these are even better!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 slices pre cooked bacon
- 1 cup pamela's all purpose baking mix
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
How To Make erica's cheddar bacon biscuits

Step 1Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and put tin foil over a baking sheet. I also spray the foil a bit just to make sure nothing sticks.

Step 2In a large bowl, cut the shortening into the flour until coarse lumps form.

Step 3Add the milk and mix well.

Step 4Add sliced bacon and the shredded cheese.

Step 5Spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet by tabel spoons and place into the oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
