I have a gluten allergy, so I am always trying to make everyday foods more exciting. With this recipe, I was trying to re-create Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits, and I think these are even better!

How to Make Erica's Cheddar Bacon Biscuits

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and put tin foil over a baking sheet. I also spray the foil a bit just to make sure nothing sticks.
  2. In a large bowl, cut the shortening into the flour until coarse lumps form.
  3. Add the milk and mix well.
  4. Add sliced bacon and the shredded cheese.
  5. Spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet by tabel spoons and place into the oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
