easy yummy biscuits
Out of this same recipe my daughter makes drop biscuits and I make cut-out biscuits--yummy and easy either way!

Ingredients
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup milk or buttermilk
How To Make easy yummy biscuits

Step 1Preheat oven to 450. Measure flour into a medium bowl. Using a pastry blender, cut butter into flour thoroughly. Add milk and mix just until all flour is moistened.

Step 2Place dough onto a floured countertop or other flat surface. Pat to 2" thick with hands, but do not overhandle. Using a floured biscuit cutter, cut into rounds and place on a greased cookie sheet or seasoned baking stone with biscuit edges just touching. Gather up leftover dough and reshape to cut more biscits.

Step 3Bake for 10-15 minutes or until light golden on top. Serve warm with butter, cream gravy or have a dessert biscuit--butter with a little sugar sprinkled on top!
