easy to make 7-up biscuits (what)?

Was in a rush today and was going to make some biscuits from a biscuit mix I had on hand. Looking in the refrigerator I saw this can of 7-Up and thought "why not try using it" WELL! To our surprise; they turned out really good. Think I'll make them again some day. Oh darn. I forgot to take a picture. Oh well, they are all gone. OOPS!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cold 7-up
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

How To Make easy to make 7-up biscuits (what)?

  • Step 1
    Mix first three ingredients in a bowl and knead until smooth and elastic.
  • Step 2
    Place on floured service and roll dough gently until one inch thick.
  • Step 3
    Using a biscuit cutter; cut as many biscuits as you can and place on a greased 9-inch baking pan. (managed to cut 6 biscuits)
  • Step 4
    Brush tops with melted butter.
  • Step 5
    Bake 20 minutes at 450 until golden brown.
  • Step 6
    Cool slightly before serving.
