These biscuits are so easy, we have them often. My husband loves it when I add chopped green chiles or change the cheese to Parmesan.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2/3 cup milk

How To Make easy cheesy biscuits

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 450F. Lightly spray a baking shet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Place the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Mix well and stir in the Cheddar cheese.
  • Step 3
    Cut in the butter until coarse crumbs form. Stir in the milk until a soft dough forms.
  • Step 4
    Drop the dough by heaping tablespoonsful 1 inch apart onto the sprayed baking sheet. Bake until firm to the touch, about 15 minutes.
