easy butter dips
These simple, buttery bites have a fantastic crisp exterior and a melt in your mouth interior that can't be beat!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Who knew homemade breadsticks could be so easy! Made with six ingredients (probably in your kitchen already), these breadsticks are buttery and delicious. You could jazz them up even more by sprinkling some garlic salt or Parmesan cheese. Serve with a side of marinara and these are going to disappear in a snap. They'd be tasty dipped in soup, too.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup milk
How To Make easy butter dips
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Melt butter in a 9x9 glass pan right in the oven while it is preheating.
-
Step 2Mix all other ingredients together until dough forms.
-
Step 3Coat hands and dough with a dusting of flour, and knead a few times.
-
Step 4Roll or press out into roughly a 8" square.
-
Step 5Cut the square in half.
-
Step 6Then cut each half into strips.
-
Step 7Lay each strip in the melted butter. Turn each to completely cover with butter.
-
Step 8Arrange all the strips in the pan. They should be touching, so that's fine.
-
Step 9Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot!
