2 csifted all-purpose flour
4 tspbaking powder
1/2 cshortening (personal preference is butter flavored, but regular is fine)
How to Make Cloud Biscuits
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
In a small bowl or measuring cup, beat egg and add milk. Set aside.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; cut in shortening until crumbly. Add egg and milk; stir in all at once just until mixture leaves sides of bowl.
- Turn onto floured surface and knead 20 times. Roll out to 3/4 inch thickness. Using floured biscuit cutter or glass, cut dough into rounds. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-14 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
