Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- GLAZE
- 2 tablespoons milk
- - add enough powdered sugar for glaze consistency.
How To Make cinnamon biscuits

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees; grease a 9 inch round baking pan.

Step 2Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl and mix well.

Step 3Stir in vegetable oil; add buttermilk and stir until just blended.

Step 4Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Roll dough into a 15x8 inch rectangle.

Step 5Spread butter over the dough.

Step 6Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, mix well. Sprinkle over butter.

Step 7Roll up jelly-roll style starting from ong side; pinch seams to seal.

Step 8Cut the roll into 1-1/2 inch slices; arrange the slices, cut side up, in prepared baking pan.

Step 9Bake until lightly browned, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 10Remove from oven; combine powdered sugar and milk to form a glaze; spread over tops of biscuits.
