I found this recipe in the St. Anthony Messenger and had to give it a try. So glad I did. It was a huge hit and the family is begging for more.

Ingredients
- FILLING
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1-2 tablespoon cinnamon
- GLAZE
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- DOUGH
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 cup butter
How To Make cinnamon biscuit twists

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Measure the first 4 Dough indgredients into a med. bowl and mix. Cut in 1/2 cup butter with a pastry fork until it looks like coarse crumbs. Beat together egg and milk and stir into dry mixture. Stir until dough clings together and then beat for 1 minute by hand.

Step 2On a floured surface pat dough into a 8x15 inch rectangle. Brush dough with melted butter and sprinkle on the brown sugar and cinnamon. Fold dough in half lengthwise, making a 4x15 inch rectangle. Using a pizza cutter cut into 1 inch strips. Twist strips 2-3 times then place on a lightly greased 12x15 inch baking sheet. Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes.

Step 3Combine powdered sugar with milk and vanilla and stir until smooth. Brush as a glaze on top of warm twists; serve twists warm.
