These are the closest I have come to Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups bisquick
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • MIX FOR TOP
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch salt

How To Make cheesy garlic butter biscuits

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Combine Bisquick with cold butter. (I use a pastry blender) Add cheese, milk and garlic powder. Do not overmix.
  • Step 3
    Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Depending on the type of baking sheet you use, you can lightly spray cookie sheet to ensure they don't stick. Bake 15-17 minutes or until tops turn light brown. Remove from oven.
  • Step 4
    Melt 2T butter in microwave. Stir in garlic powder, parsley flakes and salt and brush on top of biscuits.
