cheesey garlic drop biscuits
My own personal touch on an old baking powder bisquit recipe. They are great alone, or with ranch dressing ... but they are best with my biscuit dip! ;)

How To Make cheesey garlic drop biscuits
-
Step 1Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Cut in shortening with fork (I usually start with a fork and end with my hands, it's always easier for me that way)
-
Step 2Mix in cheese. Then mix in milk, getting dough consistent in texture & moisture. (Add extra milk a table spoon at a time if dough is too dry.)
-
Step 3Drop onto greased cookie sheets. (I use an ice cream scoop ... we like our biscuits big around here!)
-
Step 4Bake at 375 until golden brown and cooked through. (about 20-25 minutes.)
-
Step 5DIP: In small individual cups, combine 1/4 cup sour cream and 1 tsp garlic powder. Best to refridgerate while biscuits bake.
