4 biscuits are just right sometime because you want to eat them fresh. Although I did eat one that was left over the next day with a little cheese and it was still tender and crumbly like I like them!

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 oz
    ap flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp
    unsalted butter, melted and hot

How to Make buttermilk fluffy biscuits (4)

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 450degrees. adjust oven rack to middle position
  2. whisk everything together except buttermilk and butter
  3. mix cold buttermilk into hot butter and stir. Blend everything together just until mixed.
  4. scoop 4 biscuits onto lined sheet pan about 1 1/2 inches apart.
  5. BAKE UNTIL CRISP ABOUT 12 TO 15 MINUTES.
