My friend was telling me how her grandmother made biscuits from scratch, so I gave it a try...I just didn't have the touch her grandmother did, so I put my own spin on it!

Ingredients
- - self rising flour
- - whole milk
- - salted butter
- Pinch - cream of tartar
How To Make butter biscuits

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 F.

Step 2Mix flour, butter, and cream of tartar together until a sticky dough has formed.

Step 3Add milk to mixture enough milk so dough is more managable.

Step 4Using hands, form into a round shape and place on a greased cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake for 15-20 minutes. Biscuits should be golden brown on edges and cracked on top.

Step 6For a different taste, add poppy seeds to the top of the biscuits before baking.
