How to Make Butter Biscuits
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Mix flour, butter, and cream of tartar together until a sticky dough has formed.
- Add milk to mixture enough milk so dough is more managable.
- Using hands, form into a round shape and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. Biscuits should be golden brown on edges and cracked on top.
- For a different taste, add poppy seeds to the top of the biscuits before baking.
