1Preheat oven to 425. Mix buttermilk & soda and set aside. Grease pan or baking stone.
2Blend together the flour & salt. Make a hole in center and add butter. Gradually add in buttermilk so you can knead but don't overmix. Pinch off pieces with floured hands. Roll until smooth, place in pan & flatten. Bake at 425 for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
