Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound self-rising flour
  • 1/2 pound sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil ( or herbs and spices of choice)
  • 2 cups canola oil

How To Make brooklyn biscuits

  • Step 1
    Mix self rising flour and sour cream along with the basil
  • Step 2
    Combine ingredients and roll out on flour board.
  • Step 3
    Cut dough into equal size of squares
  • Step 4
    Bake for 8 minutes at 300 degrees F.
  • Step 5
    Remove from oven and cool.
  • Step 6
    Note: Biscuits should be white and partially cooked.
  • Step 7
    When ready to serve, deep fry for about 45 seconds until they are GBD. golden brown and delicious
