B B C = Bacon, Beer and Cheese ! A great, simple and quick little recipe to make some mighty tasty buns ! Use whatever your favorite biscuit mix is or if you do biscuits and such from scratch then use that ! Feel free to add in whatever other tidbits tickle your fancy .. I think pepperoni would be super yummy in these too !

Ingredients

  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped chooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese ** see notes
  • 1/2 cup beer ** see notes
  • - garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons additional shredded cheese

  • Step 1
    *** NOTES *** If you enjoy a smokey cheese I recommend using that in place of the cheddar. The beer I like to use is a lager, however if you enjoy a dark beer then by all means use that !
  • Step 2
    Preheat your oven to 400* Lightly spray a 6 cup muffin tin with cooking spray and set aside.
  • Step 3
    Put your biscuit mix into a medium sized bowl. Add sugar and salt and stir to combine. Add bacon and cheese and stir to combine. Add your beer and stir until your mixture is incorporated. Divide the mixture between the 6 muffin cups.
  • Step 4
    Lightly sprinkle the top of each muffin with garlic salt. Top each muffin with a small bit of shredded cheese.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 400 for about 16 minutes or until done. Let the muffins sit in the pan for a couple of minutes before removing to a cooling rack. These are best served warm.
