Back in the mid-90's, when Pampered Chef was hitting my area of the world, this was a popular party recipe. I was just starting to cook, myself, and it was so DELICIOUS. Could I possibly be able to make something this GOOD?!? I bought all the stuff necessary, nearly got killed by my husband, made this recipe, and we've never regretted!

  • 20 - refrigerated biscuits
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 - apples, peeled, cored, and thin-sliced
  • 1/3 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup raisins

How To Make apple-nut ring

  • Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 400* F. Spray a round deep dish baker with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
Separate the biscuits. Melt the butter in a shallow dish. Place the cinnamon and sugar in another shallow dish. Dip the biscuits into the butter then roll in cinnamon / sugar mix. Arrange 15 biscuits around the outer edge of the deep dish baker, overlapping as needed, and 5 biscuits in the middle, overlapping as needed.
  • Step 3
Place the apple slices in between the biscuits, around the outer edge of the dish, and wherever else there is room. Mix the remaining butter, cinnamon / sugar mix, nuts, and raisins. Pour over all. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Serve hot.
