ghee's angel biscuits

One of my children's favorites...their friend's also! This is recipe was passed down from my Mother's side of the family. I come from a long line of great cooks and I love following their lead! I make the Angel Biscuits as a treat for an after school snack.

Ingredients
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water, approx 115 degrees
- - soft margarine
How To Make ghee's angel biscuits

Step 1Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine flour and sugar in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients along with the yeast mixture and mix well.

Step 2Turn out onto well floured surface. Knead lightly and pat out. Cut dough in a circle and add a small amount of soft margarine to the middle of the angel biscuit and fold over. Bke on 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3Bake on 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
