Ghee's Angel Biscuits
This is recipe was passed down from my Mother's side of the family. I come from a long line of great cooks and I love following their lead! I make the Angel Biscuits as a treat for an after school snack.
- 3 c
- self-rising flour
- 1/4 c
- 1/2 c
- vegetable oil
- 3/4 c
- 1 pkg
- active dry yeast
- 1/2 c
- warm water, approx 115 degrees
- soft margarine
How to Make Ghee's Angel Biscuits
- 1Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine flour and sugar in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients along with the yeast mixture and mix well.
- 2Turn out onto well floured surface. Knead lightly and pat out. Cut dough in a circle and add a small amount of soft margarine to the middle of the angel biscuit and fold over. Bke on 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
- 3Bake on 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
