Ingredients
- 1 package yeast
- 2 tablespoons water
- 5 cups flour
- 1 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make angel biscuits

Step 1Dissolve yeast in water.

Step 2Combine dry ingredients and cut in shortening.

Step 3Add yeast and buttermilk. Mix thoroughly. Refrigerate overnight.

Step 4Roll dough on floured surface. Cut into biscuits. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.
