I made these for the first time about a week ago..I made a double batch and my hubby and daughter gobbled them up! I think I got one of them out of that bunch. Last night I made another batch, which is basically 9 biscuits, they are half gone this morning! lol

prep time 15 Min
cook time 15 Min
method Bake
yield 9 at 1 each

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bisquick biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup 7-up
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

How To Make 7-up biscuits

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 450 degrees
  • Step 2
In a bowl, cut the sour cream into the biscuit mix
  • Step 3
Add in 7-up, and mix well. It will make a soft dough
  • Step 4
Place some dry biscuit mix on counter/board(whatever you use for rolling out dough) and pat the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  • Step 5
Cut the dough into about 9 squares.
  • Step 6
Melt butter and pour into bottom of 9 inch square pan.
  • Step 7
Place biscuits into pan on top of butter.
  • Step 8
Bake 12-15 minutes.(My oven bakes hot, so I only bake about 10 mins. If tops don't brown, then I turn broiler on high and watch til they just get golden and out they come!!)
  • Step 9
I place a small amount of butter on the tops when they come out of the oven and eat!! YUM!!!
