I've searched for a good biscuit recipe for over 40 years and ran across this one.. I've added a few of my own touches to make it 'mine'... Enjoy!

prep time 30 Min
cook time 20 Min
method Bake
yield 12 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups bisquick
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup 7-up
  • 1 cup margarine

How To Make 7 up biscuits

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F... add margarine to baking pan and place in oven to melt while you mix the biscuits...
  • Step 2
Mix Bisquick, sour cream and 7-up till mixture forms a soft dough... turn out onto a floured surface and pat out to 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick... Cut with a biscuit cutter... re-roll scraps to use all dough...
  • Step 3
The key to light, fluffy biscuits is to not over-mix the dough... Remove pan with melted margarine and place biscuits in the pan, turn once to coat in margarine... bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown...
