Braised Beef with Caramelized Onions & Greens Chiffonade

INGREDIENTS
1 lb lean beef stew meat
1/4 tsp sea salt, plus additional, to taste
1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 
plus additional, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
3 1/2 cups low-sodium beef 
broth, divided
4 carrots, peeled and halved 
(if small) or sliced ½ inch thick on 
the diagonal
1 large turnip, cubed
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 large rosemary sprig
1 small bunch turnip greens
Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley 
for garnish
