1/2 cup milk, divided

Rich Cream Filling:
•
½ cup sugar
•
3 Tbsp flour or 1 Tbsp cornstarch
•
Small pinch salt
•
3/4 cup milk
•
1 egg or 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
•
Add flavoring, see variations below
•
¼ cup heavy cream
•
Chocolate Frosting:
•
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
•
1 Tbsp butter
•
½ cup milk
•
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
•
½ tsp vanilla
