2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar, plus extra for topping ((see note to add more sugar if you prefer a sweeter scone))
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 stick (½ cup) salted butter, diced and chilled
⅔ - 1 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs, divided
¾ cup fresh or frozen blueberries ((if using frozen, do NOT thaw))
