BLACKBERRY PEACH DUMP CAKE - The Southern Lady Cooks

INGREDIENTS
3 cups fresh blackberries (you could use frozen)
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1 29 ounce can sliced peaches in syrup, drained (save 1/3 cup of the peach juice)
1 15.25 ounce box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter or 12 tablespoons or 3/4 cup (melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecan pieces (can use walnuts)
