~~For the caramel filling/sauce:

6 Medjool dates, pitted and roughly chopped
•
¼ cup + 2 Tbs. almond milk
•
1 Tbs. almond butter
•
1 Tbs. + 1 tsp. coconut oil
•
1 tsp. lucuma powder (optional, but enhances the caramel flavor)
•
½ tsp. vanilla extract
•
? tsp. sea salt
•
a handful of pecans, broken into smaller pieces
