INGREDIENTS

1 cup (237 ml) whole milk (lower fat milk can be substituted)

1 package (7 gr, or 2 1/2 tsp) active dry or quick rise yeast

1/4 cup (49 gr) granulated sugar
•
1/3 cup (73 gr) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
•
1 1/4 tsp (6 gr) kosher salt or table salt
•
2 large eggs, room temperature
•
4 – 4 1/2 cups (476 – 535 gr) all-purpose flour
•
1 tbsp cooking oil of choice
•
1 medium onion, small diced (about 1/2 cup)
•
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
•
1 pound (455 gr) ground beef (85-90% lean)
•
4 cups of shredded green cabbage (about 10 oz)
•
1 tsp salt (plus more to taste)
•
black pepper
•
4 oz (112 gr) shredded cheese of choice (I like a sharp cheddar)
