INGREDIENTS
For the Berry Rich Muffins:
1 cup  whole-wheat flour
1 cup  all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon  baking powder
1/2 teaspoon  baking soda
1/4 teaspoon  salt
1   large egg
1   large egg white
2/3 cup  packed light brown sugar or 1/3 cup Splenda sugar Blend for Baking
1 cup  buttermilk or equivalent buttermilk powder and water
1/4 cup  canola oil
1 1/2 teaspoons  grated lemon or orange zest
1 teaspoon  vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups  mixed fresh berries, such as blueberries, raspberries and/or blackberries
1/4 cup  dried blueberries or dried cherries
1 tablespoon  sugar
