The stuffing mix not only adds additional flavor, and helps retain moisture, but makes the meat loaf hold it's shape.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground beef
  • 1 medium green pepper (diced)
  • 1 - Onion (diced)
  • 1 - Stalk celery (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 6 ounces box Chicken flavored stuffing mix
  • 2 - Eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 ounces pkg McCormick Meat Loaf Seasoning Mix

How To Make beegee's best meatloaf

  • Step 1
    In a skillet, add butter, green pepper, onion, and celery. Sauté until onion is “glossy”. In a large mixing bowl, add ground beef, brown sugar, eggs, milk, stuffing mix, and sautéed onion mixture.
  • Step 2
    Mix well until blended. Add Seasoning Mix. Mix well again. Place in a 9x5 loaf baking dish. Shape meat mixture into a loaf.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a 375 F oven 1 hour or until cooked through.
