Brioche dough:
•
¼ cup whole milk
•
1 tablespoon honey
•
1½ teaspoons active dry yeast
•
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
•
¾ cup all-purpose flour
•
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
•
½ teaspoon salt
•
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons bread flour, divided
•
½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
•
Honey-Almond Topping:
•
¼ cup (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter
•
¼ cup sugar
•
¼ cup honey
•
pinch of salt
•
¾ cup sliced almonds
