My mother made this recipe originally from her mother.

Ingredients
- MEAT MIXTURE
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion,chopped
- to taste - salt and pepper
- 15 ounces peas, canned
- - flour/water mixture for thickening
- 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- - margarine dots
- - paprika
- FOR MASHED POTATOES
- 6 large potatoes, peeled
- - milk
- - margarine
- to taste - salt and pepper
How To Make shepard's pie

Step 1Brown ground beef with onion, drain fat

Step 2Add salt, pepper, can of peas including pea juice.

Step 3Make flour/water mixture for thickening, add to meat mixture, then add Worcestershire sauce.

Step 4Make mashed potatoes

Step 5Line a 2 qt casserole with mashed potatoes about an inch thick on bottom and sides

Step 6Pour in meat mixture

Step 7Top with the rest of the mashed potatoes, Dot the top with margarine and paprika

Step 8Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes
